Treatment method During use, if a deviation occurs, the following checks should be made to determine the cause and adjust it. PTFE conveyor belt often checked for deviations and treatment methods are:
(1) Check the misalignment between the horizontal centerline of the idler and the vertical centerline of the PTFE conveyor belt. If the misalignment value exceeds 3mm, it should be adjusted by the long mounting holes on both sides of the roller group. The specific method is which side the conveyor belt is biased to, which side of the roller group is moved forward in the direction in which the conveyor belt advances, or the other side is moved backward.
(2) Check the deviation between the two planes of the head and tail frame mounting bearing seat. If the deviation between the two planes is greater than 1mm, the two planes should be adjusted in the same plane. The adjustment method of the head roller is: if the PTFE conveyor belt deviates to the right side of the drum, the bearing seat on the right side of the drum should be moved forward or the left bearing seat is moved back; The bearing housing on the left side of the drum should move forward or the right bearing housing back. The adjustment method of the tail roller is exactly the opposite of that of the head roller.
(3) Check the position of the material on the PTFE conveyor belt. The material is not centered on the cross section of the conveyor belt, which will cause the conveyor belt to run off. If the material is biased to the right, the belt is biased to the left and vice versa. When using, the material should be centered as much as possible. In order to reduce or avoid the deviation of this kind of PTFE conveyor belt, a material baffle can be added to change the direction and position of the material.
